January 21st Tournament on Lk Monticello ended up being very soggy. We had 10 Boats and 20 Anglers for our 1st tournament of the year. Very good showing in spite of the weather. Congratulations to Matt Bicknell on 1st Place with 9lbs even with 3 fish, 2nd Place to Erik Faulk with 8.20lbs with 2 fish and big fish of 6lbs, and Dewayne Smith in 3rd with 5.10lbs with 3 fish.

Looking forward to next month on Lake Murray, ought to be lots of fun.

**As a reminder we need to collect membership and tournament fees at this meeting:
Federation membership is $70 or Associate membership is $20
Murray tournament fee is $15 please plan on paying at the meeting so we can do the
pairings. Think about paying in advance for all six tournaments or the ones you plan on
attending. I know that this will make the tournament directors job much easier.

**Copies of Insurance We will also need all boaters to provide a copy of their boat
insurance validating 100K liability. You are required to show proof of insurance prior to
using your boat in one of our events. This is not only a club rule but also a requirement
of BASS and the State Federation.
